In 2017, Jill McManus set out to make a difference in the lives of youth all throughout the Mad River Valley by providing them with all the tools, resources, and support they need in order to help them grow through the arts and showing alternative ways of expression. Kids Creations empowers youth in the greater Waitsfield area to reach their fullest potential through a wide range of services. We care about our children and provide them with a number of enrichment programs to help shape their identity. Over the years, Kids Creations has grown to be the best Children's Organization in the area - offering youth of the community a chance to reach their fullest potential.

Hi I'm Jill, the Owner and Creator of Kids Creations. Vermont has been my home for over 10 years now but my accent gives my original roots away,

My life has always revolved around art and children. A graduate from Northeastern University with a BS in Business and minor in Art. I moved to NYC to pursued my accountant degree and took jobs within the Art /Design industries including Pace Gallery, Dior , and MJM Creative Marketing. City life was exhausting and the mountains called to me. I took an accountant job at Okemo Mtn, and then Sugarbush Resort. Vermont's life style and people instantly had my heart. Eager to join and give to my community, I decided to open an art studio in 2017, called Kids Creations.

"Hi, I’m Cece! You may recognize me from Sugarbush Day School, or, more recently, holding down the fort at Collaborative Brewing. I began working with young humans at Moretown’s MECA after-school program, and was a substitute teacher around the valley schools 2011-14. I’ve spent years as a one-on-one care provider for special needs individuals, and no matter who I’m with, artistic creation has been an integral part of every relationship I’ve had in my educational/caretaking experience. I joined up with Jill at Kids Creations this summer and I’m so excited to be witness to and aide in the awesome art your children will create! "

How can I enroll my child?You can enroll through the website or email KidsCreations802@gmail.com Join the email list to get notified when enrollment opens and new classes are added.

What supplies do I need to bring?We provide all supplies for classes, students are not required to provide any supplies. However, we do suggest wearing appropriate attire or bringing your own smock. Kids Creations is a fun, creative environment, expect to bring your imagination, use our supplies & expertise and walk away with artwork & a great experience.

How long are the classes?Classes typically run between 2-3 hours depending on event.
